Why service leads get missed
Find the handoff gaps that cause inquiries to go unanswered and set up a simple lead ownership routine.

An unanswered call is one way to lose a lead. Other gaps are less visible: a web inquiry goes to an inbox nobody owns, an estimate is sent with no next action, or a booking stays tentative. Before choosing a CRM, map where each inquiry arrives and who is responsible for the first response.
A useful first fix
Keep one lead log with a source, owner, last contact, next action, and status. Review records without a next action each day. If the routine breaks when several people share the work, consider a shared intake tool.
Follow the missed call to booking workflow or use the Leak Finder to identify the busiest gap.
